APRIL 8 • 7:30p–8:30p ET
It isn't always easy to write into joy—it risks sentimentality and it can feel trivial, or even reveal guilt. In this session, we’ll hear from writers who have found the complicated truth inside delight, and then we'll build our own catalog of what’s worth celebrating. Our time together includes:
Curated anchor reading and framing for the session
Short warm-up writing prompt
Deep writing through a selection of prompts
Optional sharing
Four sessions. Four themes. One invitation: bring what you carry and put it on the page.
Writing Into It is a workshop series for anyone who wants to write—whether you’ve been doing it for years or you’re just starting to find your way in. Each session is built around a single theme: grief, joy, resistance, and sense of place. You’ll hear a short reading, receive guided prompts, and spend most of your time doing the thing itself—writing.
Sessions are standalone, so you can attend one or all four; each themed session is offered at two date/time options for flexibility. Each workshop runs 60 minutes via Zoom.
Each session in this series is offered with sliding scale pricing (read more about the concept of sliding scale pricing).
This session will be held on APRIL 8 from 7:30p–8:30p ET.
If you'd like to attend all four themed sessions, you can use the code ALL4 to receive a 15% discount. This code is offered freely in good faith.
